Are you guys familiar with the term “SMART GOALS?” It stands for: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-sensitive. I kept this acronym in mind when creating my 25 goals. Here is part II to my 25 before 25 series. Before continuing, be sure to read Part I.
6. Try veganism for 25 days
I’ve read so many articles and watched so many videos about the benefits of veganism (not consuming any animal products) and although I am a vegetarian, I would love to see the difference completely cutting off dairy would make. I tried for a week, but my body was craving an omelet with cheese. No, not chocolate…an omelet! I will try veganism, and whether I am successful, or not, I will let you guys know about the journey.
7. Perform 25 random acts of kindness
With so much evil in this world, why not make a deliberate effort to be kind? My first act of kindness involved me giving up my seat on a plane so a child could seat with her mom. There is nothing incredibly kind about that except the fact my new seat was now a middle seat on a 4-hour flight!
8. Save an extra $2,500
Have you guys ever googled “Small ways to save more money?” There are so many ways to save more money. $2,500 might be a big number to some, but it might also be so small to others. Remember these are my goals, save whatever you desire. I am also happy to write a more in-depth post about the way I save. Let me know in the comments if that’s something you’re interested in.
9. Fix my MacBook
Since I have a work computer, I hardly ever use my MacBook. However, I need to do a better job of separating work from my personal life. The keyboard of my MacBook has an issue, so it’s always been a small item on my “to do list” I never got to. Putting it on my 25-before-25 list is just my way of making it a priority.
10. Go Skydiving
Being in school is stressful!!! A few of my classmates decided that a good way to relieve all that stress is to go skydiving! Upon completion of all requirements for our Master’s Degree, we are going skydiving! I’ve secretly always wanted to do it, so I jumped at the idea. (pun intended)
Do you guys have any tips for me? Especially with goal number 1 “To try veganism!” Also, how are your goals coming along? We must keep each other accountable. Let’s talk about it in the comments.
Thanks for reading.
Love,
Dee

Hey Dee!
These goals are really great ones! Sometimes saying ‘oh i need to so this’ over and over falls through the cracks because we forget we ever said then. Writing them down makes life so much easier! Lol less work on your brain to try and remember also!
So far so good on your accomplishments so keep on keeping on. I make small goals all the time because they really do help.
Thanks again for sharing – love reading your posts!
Have a great week! 😀

Hey LayLay! Yes I totally agree…saying something is so easy to forget so writing your goals down and making them visible really helps you to achieve them. Thank you so much for reading 😘💃🏾💃🏾
